BarCamp Hits Chennai
Chennai will become the second city in the whole of Asia to host the popular tech unconference. Delhi, BTW, beat us to it.
There’s frentic activity that’s happening in organizing the event. Just yesterday, a bunch of organizers met up at the Barista on Khader Nawaz Khan road over cafe lattes and capuccinos. You can find all the developments at the BarCampChennai wiki.
What is BarCamp, you ask? Oh, it’s fun, I tell you. BarCamp is about passionate sharing of knowledge, camaraderie, and sheer learning of what the other guys are doing on the WEB 2.0 scene. BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction. The event happens on April 8th and 9th.
If you want to participate in the event, just head over to the wiki and add yourself to the list. Should you need any clarification, you can mail kiruba[@]kiruba.com or call 98415 97744
