According to a survey conducted among nine cities, Chennai was seen as the best place for outsourcing companies.

The city got top marks in all the three major categories — financial costs (compensation costs, infrastructure costs, cost of living); people skills and availability (availability, educational skills and attrition rates); and business environment (city infrastructure, quality of life and government support).

And the closest competitor in this sector is not Bangalore but Kolkata. Now that’s what I call news!
