It’s not what you think it is. The post is not about a shop, but a tailoring unit simply named, THE SHOP. For women who have been forced to endure outrageous tailoring goof-ups like me, you can walk into THE SHOP for some relief. It is a family-run business. The two women who run the show are cordial and at the same time very professional about their work. You can feel free to ask them for suggestions and work out patterns that best suit your ideas.
The place is also done up quitely tastefully. On one side of the wall, a sequence of paintings, embroidered bags and dress materials are displayed. On the other side of the wall, is a window display of sun glasses, ear-rings, bags and leather shoes. The shop also has a variety of stitched as well as running materials to offer their customers. You can also choose from a variety of neck patterns that are simple, but yet look elegant. There might be one minor problem, and that is the location. The shop is located on the second floor of a building complex on L.B.Road. It may not be immediately visible since the complex seems tucked away among other shops that adorn the main road. It will require a second glance to find the place. The Golden Globe Gym and the Parryware shop are prominent landmarks.

A friend of mine who is a regular there recommended this tailoring shop and urged me to give it a try. After a series of mishaps, I was willing to give this place one last shot. The lady who took my dress pattern and other requirements handled the entire session confidently. She seemed to have an idea of the kind of cut that would suit me. I went home feeling both happy and anxious at the same time. I was hoping against hope that my happiness would not be short-lived. When the big day arrived, my fears gave way to unlimited joy. The dress came out looking fabulous and danced my way home.
My search for a perfect tailor had finally come to an end.
