LIC Building gets a new colour

LIC Building in Mount Road, the quintessential landmark of Madras is getting a new colour. It is now being painted in Pista Green (what is the correct name of the colour). I think it looks awful with this new colour. I can’t remember what was the previous colour, any one has an idea?

Funnily, I had always remembered LIC in light green :)

But I think the old colour was dirty white with green windows?

The correct technical term for Pista Green is Pichchaikkaarar Vaanthi.
