Where did King Thibaw stay in Chennai?

While reading Amitav Gosh’s The Glass Palace, I learnt that the last King of Burma, King Thibaw was sent in exile to India. He was placed under house arrest in Madras from Dec 1885 to April 1886 before going to Ratnagiri in Maharashtra, where he died in 1916.

So, where did King Thibaw stay in Chennai? Neither Google nor Wiki provides one with answers. Does any one know? I am eager to know the answer. You can check his picture given below to see if you can identify him :-)

On related stuff, Tipu Sultan’s sons too were held captives by the British East India Company in Madras. They stayed in what is today called the Island Grounds.
