have been abused
a light scratch in the corner
a nasty dent in the rear
a sharp line on the body
They suffer
due to lack of space
to move, to be free
fighting for an inch here
turning violently to surge
in front there
All are battered
and bruised
yet they run
from traffic signal
to signal
in seach of elusive
free movement
