Kakada Ramprasad
This post takes off from where Chandru’s post on Bajji Kadai’s of Marina ended. After the Bajji’s we drove straight down toward’s Parry’s corner. It was past 8.30 in the evening, So, I had the courage to drive thro’ flower bazaar and head to Mint Street. We parked the car and headed straight to have some Badam Milk. And if it is Badam Milk then it has to be Kakada Ramprasad Sweet shop. Now, how many of you have even heard this name? I didn’t at least till a few years ago.
This shop is more than a couple of decades old and extremely popular in this part of town. The sweets amd snacks here will beat Shree Mithai and the likes hands down. Now, lets get to the Badam Milk. All of Rs. 28/- this is a meal in itself. Infact one glass of Badam Milk is breakfast, lunch and dinner for me. The milk is absolutely fresh, thick and mmmmm… Actually, there is tons of badam and cashews spilled over on top than the milk per se. Wonder how he works out the economics.
If you have a sweet tooth, and intend to skip your diet this is where you need to head.
The Badam Milk is 10/10 for quality and 10/10 again for the price you pay.
The place is very near to Novelty, just about 100meters down the road from there on Mint Street.
Agree with u, the badam milk at kakada is heavenly! There’s another favorite of mine in the same area, Aggarwal Bhavan at Govindapa Naicken street. They serve absolutely delicious lassi, kulfi, basundhi and hot samosas.. mmm.. yummy!
a link to chandru’s post would have been useful.
@nandhu
done.. thanks..
Vinod,
I agree with Subha. The lassis at Agarwal Bhavan are ultimate. I have consumer stuff from Kakada Ramprasad, but have not visited their outlet before.
