Swadesi :)
Most of us complained about the Govt. Few of us, suggested alternative ways. Few stopped blogging. Few bloggers yelled at Bloggers who were protesting. And all that. There was one interesting Question. A lot of us used PK Blogs. A few bloggers asked, “How do we now choose to use Pakistan feature.. ?” .. and the funny part was PK Blogs took a Indian Flavour – www.InBlogs.net.
What do you think ?
I feel the community has to become a lot stronger. It might not be enough if we just have Blog meets to discuss “How to Blog”. I feel we need a conference on how to face the Cyber Law Act or whatever legal issues that we might face on expressing via blogs.Think ahead. We have had this earlier. We have read about bloggers who were forced to close down their blogs, due to Political pressures. We had Gaurav Sabnis get a mail (which was apparently a Hoax) which challenged him for a legal game.
I’d request Kiruba and other pro-bloggers to turn around the pages of Cyber Law in India, and we could educate ourselves on that path. Unconference – lets say.
It could turn delicate when it comes to decide upon what and what not should feature on the blog. We wouldnt want to do that (Most bloggers, including me would suffocate :) It could rather be a realization session, where we could talk about the Legal issues that might crop up, because of being pungent on opinions or blogging about delicate issues.
Would it be worth having one ? Let me know !
Thanks to this censorship thing, it was windfall for all the proxy sites. Isn’t it an easy way of making a lot of money, putting up lot of Ads and permitting access?
If ever something needs to be discussed at “Unconferences”, it’s Adsense.
Krithika, I didnt notice any.. did you mean Ads on PK Blogs ?
