Yo ho! It’s a late start
If you were, thanks to Prabhu’s persuasion, looking forward to the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, bad news. It’s not releasing this weekend in Chennai. (The proposed release date in India is July 21st). So take a walk. Sathyam Cinemas guys are pretty clueless as to when the film will release. I, for one, was bummed about this delay.
It’s a bad thing, waiting for a movie, any movie, to release in your city, when the rest of your country watched it and enjoyed it!

Am not ready to risk a lot of bucks for some movie instead of “Pirates”. What if it turned out to be “The New World” or something?!?!
na i dont think pirates will be shown without promotion. has it been released in mumbai?
