Siruthavur farmhouse not mine: Jaya

AIADMK general secretary J. Jayalalithaa has denied a charge that a farmhouse at Siruthavur near here belonged to her or her close friend Sasikala Natarajan or that the land around it had been taken over as alleged by some Dalits.
“We have taken the house on rent, that’s all. We have no ownership rights over it,” she said in a statement here.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had told the media last night that the state government was awaiting a report from officials on complaints from Dalits that land allotted to them in 1968 at Siruthavur village in Kancheepuram district near the farmhouse had been allegedly taken away from them. They alleged the land had been transferred in the names of Sasikala’s relatives and that they were driven away from the area during the AIADMK rule in 1991-1996.
On the charge that Sasikala’s relatives had taken away the land allotted to Dalits, Jayalalithaa said, “The charges are imaginary and ought to be answered by the owner of the farmhouse.”
“To create an illusionary corruption charge against my government, the DMK is making the charges,” she claimed.

either the details can be given or let him to make a press statement to clear the douts and to arrest the roumers – Any how the lease rent or the monthly rent should be for a fare amount -The payment details viz. with cheque Number and the name of the Bank and Branch and TDS deductions made on such payments and if the same is remitted to the IT authorities the relevant particulars may also to be be released.
