    To Suppamani

    1. Anderson Road is the road between Haddows Road and College Road in Nungambakkam. The British Consulate is in this road (I came to know of it when I went there for a UK Visa application).

    2. Binny Road. (There is another Binny Road next to Poes Garden)

Deepa you got the connection right. It is not Potti Sriramulu’s house, but the house where Potti Sriramulu went on fast unto death for the formation of separate state of Andhra. Unlike today’s fasts, he did carry it to the end and died after 58 days of fasting on 16th December 1952.

Large scale violence happened in Mount Road when his body was taken for cremation, and the violence spread to the districts of Andhra. Four days after his death, the state of Andhra was formed. More details here in this wiki page
