4-yr-old takes to drivers seat

“Studying in lower Kinder Garden in southern Chennai, the child has taken a fascination for driving at the age of three and half years, claims his father.

With four hours of training everyday, Keethresh can today drive at a speed of 70 kilometres per hour (43.5 miles per hour) and can continuously drive for 32 kilometres (approximately 20), adds his father. ”

Uh oh! Sounds dangerous to me! More on this here.

Yet another way to make driving lethal. What is it with Indians and cars?

I saw a guy on the ECR today with a boy of about four on his knee, one hand on the steering wheel. What would that guy do if the boy slipped, or yanked the wheel?

And seatbelts? People around here like watching their kids disapearing through the windscreen? I suppose they think that if they’re going, they might as well take the children with them.

I rant in vain. Even in London I can’t get my Indian friends to listen :(
