Free car parking in the city!!!

Sounds strange. But it’s true. I went to Sathyam theatre today, and there was this guy, who came up to me and said, “sir, do you want free car parking” and i obviously said YESS as these days the parking fee hits you. The guy handed over a coupon to me, it was from Club Mahindra holidays and it asked for my name and contact details. The coupon also mentioned that fill it up and hand over a portion to the Sathyam parking officials and they would waive off the parking fee. And yes, they did. I was pleasantly surprised. Companies in Chennai have resorted to innovative marketing techniques. I told this to a friend of mine and he had experienced the same parking fee waiver at Spencer Plaza a couple of weeks before. So, next time watch out for the Club Mahindra guy when you are entering a mall and save on the parking fee when shopping or watching a movie in the city. Anyone else encountered the same?

Wanna know where you want to park for free in the busy(!) Pondy Bazaar??! Just get into the complex where Hot Chips is(the older one, not the one in Maya Palaza). Zip in and zip out without batting an eyelid :)

These are some of the ways the marketing companies collect your data. Nothing is free in this world. I have worked in a few places where we use this data to find trends and target the market segment with procducts and service.
