The chennai traffic police have done a commendable job at Vadapalani bus terminus. Before, all vehicles proceeding towards kamala theatre used to stop near this vijayashanti apartments. As expected, the bus will stop in the middle of the road, there by creating a traffic jam all the way till AVM theatre complex.

Now, the buses coming from valasarawakkam, saligramam etc do not stop in the main road. Instead, they enter the bus stand and stop at the place where 5E/G70 etc stop. The traffic does flow smoothly at that junction.

And its good to see the one way from Viveks till the police station. But the return route is not that good. The road opposite viveks is not that wide enough. And invariably one or two trucks block that road most of the times. Maybe the traffic police can have a closer look at the parking there. And there arent any proper directions/display etc regarding this one way.
