Tomorrow is the day of Corporation Elections in Chennai. This year’s campaigning was more noisy and colorful than previous elections. A change in the rules stating that the elected councillors will choose the Mayor is supposed to be the reason for this extravagant spending.

From what I observe, I predict that Chennai is going to vote for ADMK with razor thin majority. Vijaykanth’s DMDK may win a handful of wards. It is going to be a tough fight, with ADMK winning North Madras and DMK doing well in South and West. What is your prediction?
