Opening ceremony
A round of greetings to everyone. Thank you for having me here.
I moved to Chennai in July 2006, much in contradiction with the opinions of the voices that whispered in my ear. And guess what, I’m having a blast.
In September I started my blog, and if you do happen to drop in there you’ll see it has a lot to do with the city of Chennai.
There are things I love about this city - the beach, multiple chutneys served with every idli, the pride that Chennai takes in being Chennai, the buzzing music scene…
And there are things I absolutely hate - autodrivers, billboards that are a never ending eyesore, the smell of urine at every other street corner…
I’ll cover it all here - likes and dislikes, raves and rants. It’s a new city, and I’m discovering plenty new. Will keep you posted.

I came here in August 2006 ! I was in N Delhi and before that in the US. I like Chennai and wouldn’t trade my stay here over other metro cities.
