MSN has a Thamizh portal but with the news buzzing around of a possible MSN-Yahoo alliance or even an outright purchase of the latter, MSN need not worry about having a city strategy for India.
While Chennaionline.com has been there for a long time and shows up on top for a Google search of just the word “Chennai”, the pure-play group blog(alone)sites are Chennai Metblogs and Chennaiist.com. Other than this are movie sites on Kollywood like Behindwoods.com, Thamizh-only sites (other than web extensions of Thamizh MSM) like Thatstamil.com and a lot of individual bloggers who write on Chennai from time to time (like Yours Truly :-)).

There is a cure for ignorance, but as a section of responses to that photo-feature show, there is no cure for arrogance. Read on.
