Note to the NRM

Dear NRM*,

You are banned from talking about the weather – both mentioning how it feels in your city and asking how it is in mine. You know they call this period Agni Nakshatram (and you’ve been away long enough to only think of Mani Rathnam when that’s mentioned). And Agni Nakshatram means we are burning alive here. Okay?

For your fascination with pointless details there is always this.

Irritatedly,
VRM**

Yes couldn’t think of anything better. The temperature is in the 40s – I am surprised my brain hasn’t fried yet (hush, don’t keep saying what if…)

I am a NRM, cool down guys….. The so called Bangalore jerks who time and again boast of the sickeing climate was consistently higher than Madras right through Feb to April. In Bombay we have a second summer after monsoon i.e. from October wherein this past 10years it has touched even 42 degree C.

It is a famous time pass of most of the NRM’s to complain that Madras is sweaty, sticky and stinky(because of sweat). Others cities are no better. From now on stop complaining guys. Also make it a point to give your piece of mind to those Bangalore jerks and other fellow cribbers – if I can call so

lavanya,, you brought back fond memories of agni naksatram.. i some classes that would get over at around 1 o clock or so – and would my @$$ get fried on the scooter seat or what! i really used to enjoy (?!) driving as fast as i could (my scooty used to give the impression i was going very fast when in effect it would be more like 40kmph) – the tar roads radiated heat and experiencing this on the scooty was pretty unique.. kinda miss them.

@another nrm: i still miss madras veyyil and fine 28 C cool.. and velicham till 8 o clock just gets on my nerves :|
