China in south India

The Fort Museum (which you SHOULD visit, if you haven’t, or heck, have) will hold an exhibition on the history of ceramics in South India. The Fort Museum is one of those unsung, rather brilliant but in a quiet unassuming manner, place in Chennai. And having seen some of their exhibits (in particular, their British and Nawab cutlery range) I am sure this is an exhibition worth going to.

The fort itself is a fantastic place. With canons and dogs and inefficient brash officials, all in the same place. Together with 360 years of history. Go, visit.
