Vedanth Bharadwaj live in concert
There’s always music happening in Chennai. Sometimes the traditional and more recognised forms. But on occasions, it gets experimental. Coming soon, on July 21 to be precise, is one such example.
A live performance of Vedanth Bharadwaj’s latest album. It feaures songs from the Bhakthi Movement by poets like Mirabai, Kabir, and Gurunanak amongst others. Arranged on a base of Hindustani classical music and overlayed with contemporary elements like African rhythms and country style guitar playing.
And if all that’s not motivation enough here’s another prod. The concert is free.
can Gurunanak be called a Bhakti poet?
This concert was simply splendid – the album truly rocks!

At times its deifinetly not possible for sum one to share how / what one has experienced, so is this is classical experience thru vedanth’s concert, it was quite naturalistic for the singer jus to be like a kid with utmost innocence while scripting his talk for the show or let it be gazing a while when he didnt knw where he had kept his guitar, although t kept the audiences in split, however it shows as he rightly put it in his words “STONED BY HIS OWN MUSIC” it was a fabulous experience, i wish all the sucess that he deserves and wish him for blissful and a musical sucess in his journey.
Wishes & Regards
