Traffic is a hit topic with us here at Chennai Metblogs. My fellow Metblogger David writes so many posts on traffic and other civic issues, that once a commentator had to beg for something different.

Traffic is a topic that affects everyone of us. Unlike ideological politics, this is something we contend with everyday. Unfortunately, traffic woes never get precedence over other news in the city’s newspapers or electronic media. I have never heard a proper traffic update on radio yet.

That said, quite a few bloggers write about the terrible time they are having because of traffic. You may have seen the status of the Kathipara flyover/grade separator. My office is close by and I have had the opportunity to see how slow the progress has been.
