Pat for guys behind I-Fix

Fellas over at Bangalore Metblogs have found the I-Fix initiative to be “amazing”. Congratulations are due to Vijay Anand and Ganesh , who spearheaded the event. Ganesh has confirmed that he will join us here in Chennai Metblogs shortly as a contributor.

I find it amazing that guys who are in an ethereal industry like IT should come together on something that involves bricks and mortal, literally. But of course, the guys will dismiss this remark saying they aren’t all from the IT sector.

Why is it fixing the potholes? There are lots of other social causes to take up, they wanted to do something different and if they have taken something like helping poor and needy, helping orphans, clean streets, it would have gone unnoticed and with this new idea, they will get all the publicity they want from all quarters. what is the use of fixing the potholes alone where most of the roads in chennai are resembling potholes!! I am damn sure this is just a publicity stunt or just time pass for those IT guys who are bored with all things they have done so far and chose this stupid idea!
