Ghilli movie was on kalaignar tv

Did any one see the complete movie on kalaignar tv on sunday after noon, the movie Ghilli was abruptly cut in between, some what around 1:30 PM.

While at Sun TV there was a program on “state award night programme” which was was also abruptly cut.

A friend of mine was watching the sun TV and I was watching the kalaignar tv. We were discussing about the program being disrupted this afternoon while having our lunch.

Does any one have any idea on what went wrong, the story behind it. or was it some technical difficulty or purely incidental.

Latest info:
Well seems like this story has been happening between these channel for quite some time.

Well doesn’t it sound bad for the TV channels to fight like this, instead of working on their own USP.

    Hey,
I noticed this too. Thought it was a glitch in both the networks. Ghilli was cut off and some Bargavi movie came on in Kalaignar TV. And Sun Tv to cut off the program after that irritatingly long speech by MK.

Very interesting piece. Wonder why there was no more publicity given to the antics of these channels than this.

The money-bags of the DMK are fighting on the streets!

Though Sun TV started this off, how did Ka TV show Ghilli when the rights were with Sun?
Goes to show the extreme lawlessness that prevails. This makes one shudder!

You first know the difference between quiet and quite. You seem to put quiet instead of quite in all your posts.

Gilli was to be aired on sun on the eve of diwali and the award function was to be on kalaignar.one of these two channels made a clever move by telecasting a sample of the rival channels deepavali prime time program.having gone mad at this the other channel started airing the prime of the rival too.so childish
