Chennai Airport
Looks like plans are going on for expanding the chennai airport. It would be nice if they can add a new terminal instead of wasting time on thinking of a new airport altogether!
Talking of airports, I was in for a pleasant surprise at the chennai international terminal couple of weeks back. When I entered pushing my trolley, there were 2 guys clad in a red uniform. They took the luggage, and put it in the check in counter. And then helped in tying the tags, and carrying it all the way till immigration. I offered them a tip, but they refused :) Am not sure if this service is recently launched, but nevertheless a good one. Could see sighs of relief amongst old people, when these guys offered to help them with their baggage.

Did you ever gave a thought about the plight of those residents in the proposed airport expansion area ?
Did u know the plan was altered because the original plan included the lands ofpoliticians,and the plan reversed so as to cause inconvience to poor and working class people ?

The organisation claims to have both the competence and the resources to execute the project. This will be in another location, a little away from the present airport and consequently, further away from the city/

Porambokku: Well, you have a counter argument to make and you have placed your views, well and fine. Why do you have to personally attack the writer and question his motives? If you think your point of view makes more sense, please argue it out rather than undermining your own stand by diluting its value with personal remarks? In the same vien, it would be extremely unfair for you to not expect somebody to take exception to your views.
You must have travelled by Kingfisher airlies. This airline provides this facility which is not offered by any other air carrier

Am referring to international airport. In domestic, yes. Only KF guys do that!
