Everything About Water – 2007

A water expo called ‘Everything About Water’ will take place at the Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam in the city from March 15 -17. This is the fourth edition of the expo happening in the city.
The interesting part is not the expo itself but a claim made by the organisers. They say that Chennai is the worst in the country when to comes to availability, supply and quality of water. That is quite an allegation to make because those of us living in the city are likely to believe that in view of the good rains the last two years, we were getting and continue to get more water that before.
Here is the link to the expo’s website. According to it, more than 10,000 visitors from over 40 countries are expected to take part. Over 200 exhibitors are expected to provide what they are calling ‘water solutions’. If you are interested, you can use the website to register for the event.

Not sure if Chennai is the worst in the country..but honestly..chennai sucks as far as water supply and quality goes.

Do you live in Chennai? If you do..are u using corporation water for cleaning and Bathing?

Most of Chennaiites buy water ( which has become an acccepted fact now)…which is a shame!
