Not too bad for this time of year

As I recall, the second half of May is usually the hottest with temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees Farenheit. This year it has been kind with cloudy days and lower temperatures. A look at the forecast also shows that temperatures will be in the eighties and nineties for at least the next five days, thank God for that. Seems a little unusual though I’m sure no one will complain! Hope there will be some showers early June which should bring the really hot period to a merciful end.

    Suddenly relief came… it was like winter beginning! A fall of so many degrees yesterday that I’m surprised some people didn’t dig out the December scarf from their cupboards ;)
