The construction is designed by Uruguayan architects – Carlos Ott and Carlos Ponce de Leon. ZonaAmerica, an architectural solution provider of Uruguay, drives the construction in Siruseri from Uruguay. Approximately Rs. 668 Crores is being invested by TCS for this new facility, whose first phase that accomodates 3500 people might be ready before the end of this fiscal year.

Yeah ! Everything about Siruseri is state-of-the-art, except the road. I understand the operations in Siruseri are not in full swing. Yet, thousands of associates drive into this SEZ to make their daily bread. Inevitably, they commute by their company buses and the bus travels both Horizontally and Vertically. These roads are as awkward as they can get.
The 6-way IT Highway ends at Siruseri. Thats good news.. but the road-construction is far beyond. The works have reached only Perungudi until now. It would take more than a year for the works to progress towards Siruseri, unless they intelligently start a parallel work from the ending point.
I wish they start a secretariat there, and ask the Ministers to work from there.

I can’t wait to see it finished!
Yester year Tamil Kings built ‘Poompuhar’in Tamil Nadu.
This day the new IT Pimps are building ‘Pimpvihar’ in Tamil nadu.
from the Blood,Sweat and Tears of the unknowing
and gullible seekers of good life. ask the
ex employees as to how got they ripped off
working in L1 visa. It can fill enough pages
for the new ‘epic’ story.
“ask the ex employees as to how got they ripped off working in L1 visa. ”
Well well .. How many people who were given H1 stayed loyal to the company? A good percent of those who join TCS have a fixed path in mind – “get trained -> get a H1 -> find a better job in the US”. I’m sure you can’t answer it if TCS asks you the same question – “How many people ripped us off after we got them a visa?”.
When people join TCS, their main expectation is to get to the US asap – fine, but then they shouldn’t blame the company for not helping them jump elsewhere!
PS: I don’t work for TCS.
Lol,
yeah, they should divide the secretariat into 12 equal parts and place them across the city, then all parts of the city will have clean roads, lined roads, completed flyovers
I would like to point out that it would be accomodating 22,000 people and it would be one of the largest campuses in asia, possibly the largest in India, till the Infy campus comes up in Mahindra City (25,000 capacity).
it was Rs.10 lakh per acre in Siruseri IT Park 8 yrs ago.And
I am banging my head in the wall right now. F#@$k off.

That was a great thought to keep the Secretariat in the IT Highway. They can also experience the tour to Siruseri & work out something fast to make their lives better :-)
