Wish the rain would stop

The weather is getting a little annoying. It is drizzling like all the time. At first, the tiny drops of rain on your face as you drove your motorbike felt really good. Today, that just sucks. Centuries of poetry written about the rain and rain gods feel out of place. Today, you just want the rain to stop. You want a break. You would like to feel the sun on the back of the neck once again. You want the afternoon to be a little hot. After all, that’s how noon always were in this hot and humid city. You don’t want the city to change colours. You want the city to be the same so that you can be yourself.

What is worrying is the fact that when the real rains come, in 4 to 8 weeks time, they will be falling on waterlogged ground, not ground that is dry and thirsty.

In the past two years, the ground has been dry, and there has been flooding. What will happen this time?

yes, people in low-lying areas have to be ready for a difficult time ahead. others, it’s gonna be one mad time driving through the sheets of rain during the North East monsoon. I guess November will tell us.
