Jana Krishnamurthy cremated

The mortal remains of Jana Krishnamurthy, the well known BJP leader, were consigned to flamesat the Besant Nagar crematorium today. If any of our readers ever met him or can put together a decent obituary, I will be glad to put that up as a post here.     not really. read your history!! cause he is not just another politician dude. he is probably the only chennaite who is the founding member of a national party, which has been in power at the centre. and only the second tam to head a national party

    Besides you can thank him for the fact that pertrol adulteration is history in the metros atleast.

    I am not well versed in politics, nor know much about Jana Krishnamurthy, but read that he was a sincere person who stood for certain values and a great leader of stature. Perhaps a rare thing to hear about a political personality in these days of highly rotten and stinking political atmosphere.

    Vivek: You probably talk like this about a great person because he chose to remain in the background and never used his position for any personal benefit whatever. Very very rare to see such a person in Indian politics. Usually, we see politicians who are corrupt, greedy or divisive. Of the rare breed who are neither, there are few who are intelligent and yet do not crave attention. Jana Krishnamurthy was one of them.
